took van in for non working starter. They are fast and friendly and so far so good on the starter. They seem expensive to me. They charged $50 for inspection which did not go towards price. They told me that brakes were bad and would need to charge another $50 to do full brake inspection. Ummmm, so what was the first $50 inspection for? Not brakes I guess. Also, I specifically asked to not be on their mailing list and the guy paused and stuttered and said "uh, okay" and sure enough I receive junk mail couple times a month. I couldnt have make it any clearer that i did not want any mailings.
Mr Lepore, thank you for the feedback. We apologize for sending you the thank you letter for your visit in the mail but we didn't consider the letter to be "Marketing". This letter is the only letter that we have on record of sending you but we have also put your name on a no contact list. It is difficult to explain our reasoning for charging for certain inspections so please call us so that we can explain how we charge for our technicians' time. We constantly compare our pricing with other shops in the area and feel we are very competitive but understand that we may fall short in some areas. Feedback such as this allows us to re-examine the value we give to our customers and adjust or confirm that we are competitive with other shops. I am happy that you agree our service was fast and friendly and that the repair was of high quality. Please feel free to call us with any further discussion you wish to have concerning your visit. Warm regards, Brian Bates.
